Consultative Committees and Staff Representation

Academic and General Staff Consultative Committees

Both the Academic Staff Agreement 2009 and the General Staff Agreement 2009 provide for direct staff consultation through the establishment of Consultative Committees. These Committees meet on a regular basis to discuss and consider matters concerning workplace relations and human resources affecting University Staff. Full details of the role of each Committee is available in the relevant Staff Agreement.

The membership of these Committees includes elected staff representatives, who have a term of one year. A nomination and election process for each Committee was held during 2009 to appoint staff representatives to the Academic Consultative Committee and the General Staff Consultative Committee for 2009. The members of the Committees are as follows:

Academic Consultative Committee

General Staff Consultative Committee
