About ESS

Welcome to the UWA Employee Self Service

Employee Self Service (ESS) is a web-based facility which gives current members of staff access to selected information, stored on UWA's personnel/payroll system, Alesco.

This site has been established to help staff use the facility and to answer any questions you might have. It is under development, so if you can't find the answer to your question here, please contact us on 6488 7896 or by e-mail at hrshelp@admin.uwa.edu.au.

At the bottom of this page is a link for the Employee Self Service (ESS) site which will take you to a 'gateway' or entry page. It is important that you bookmark the gateway page and not the login page. The reason for this is because the URL (web address) for the ESS may change from time to time, so if you launch it by using the link provided on the gateway page, you will always be going to the correct site. The gateway page will also let you know if the facility is available, or down for maintenance.

Please take the time to read the help page before using the site for the first time as this will enable you to use it more effectively.
