E-Mail Address Information

Human Resources records your e-mail address for use by the Web Self-Service (ESS) system. Your e-mail address will also be supplied to other systems such as the UWA On-Line Directory.

Once your e-mail address is recorded you will be able to fully exploit the ESS systems' functionality. One such feature allows you to request your password via e-mail (after establishing your identity) if you have forgotten it. As such, Human Resources will only accept legitimate UWA e-mail addresses. Non-UWA e-mail addresses such as Hotmail addresses will be rejected as a first point of contact. Similarly, you should not use a generic address like helpdesk@admin.uwa.edu.au, the address should be identifiably specific to you.

Your e-mail address should:

• be greater than 15 characters in length
• contain one @
• contain uwa.edu.au (or one of the domains affiliated with UWA)

If you have multiple UWA e-mail addresses, you will have to select just ONE as your primary address.
