Budget

The University anticipates funding 4-6 initiatives. Funds will be provided for one year only. Applicants are encouraged to seek co-funding from departmental or other sources. Project proposals which are to be jointly funded must include evidence to the commitment of funds from other sources.

Criteria for Funding

The initiative must aim to increase the participation, retention and/or success of students and staff in at least one of the targeted groups, but may be an initiative which combines more than one group. Initiatives which demonstrate clear and achievable outcomes and assurance of quality will be given a high priority. Initiatives will be favoured which are innovative and break new ground at this University.

Applications for funds may be submitted by individuals, by groups, or by cross faculty/department/units. Both academic and general staff are eligible to apply.
