This toolkit contains essential resources for chairs and members of selection panel, as well as matrix and templates.

Training:

Formal interview training is available for all UWA leaders and interview panel members to undertake. Facilitated by the Recruitment team, content includes:

  • Conducting a best practice interview, pitfalls to be aware of, and what to assess.
  • How to prepare structured and relevant behavioural questions.
  • Why take candidates through a competitive process?
  • UWA processes and procedures to be aware of.

Selection report:

The selection report must be completed and returned to Human Resources in order to start the offer process (after interviews and reference checks).
