Human Resources induction

An online induction into the role of Human Resources, and the services they provide to support our employees is offered to all new staff within the first two months of their employment.

The Induction is open to any staff member who wants to learn more about the role of Human Resources in the employee life cycle, and is particularly relevant to new staff.

Online module enrolment

  1. Go to the University's learning management system
  2. Log in using your staff number and Pheme password
  3. Select the Units tab of the learning management system home page and enter Staff Induction in the Organisation Search box
  4. Select the down arrow to the right of unit title: HR-Staff Induction
  5. Select the Enroll option.


You will learn about systems to request or record leave, to view your pay details, manage the performance reviews and leave plans of staff, and view current data about the team you manage.


You will get an overview of UWA policies that apply to staff behaviour, performance expectations and shared rights and obligations.
