UWA offers all standard benefits as well as some discretionary allowances which can be used to recognise staff.

These pages include rates for most UWA employees, both full-time and casual.
Allowances and loadings
UWA has a number of allowances that may be paid. There are specific conditions attached to each.

Superannuation, salary packaging and employee discounts
UWA staff benefits include an excellent superannuation scheme, options for salary packing, and discounts on a variety of goods and services.
UWA’s wide range of leave provisions available to staff  includes leave for annual recreation, parental, illness, injury, caring and long service. Leave is also provided for defence and emergency services, participation in international sporting events, jury service and study.
