All casual contracts can now be created and managed online. This will eliminate a number of paper-based forms and double handling of data, making the new online process faster, easier and more secure.

Under the new process the hiring area will create a casual job vacancy via HR Applications ? Casual Hire and nominate the person (or persons) they wish to fill it.
The prospective appointee(s) will then be sent a request to input their information online, after which the hiring area reviews their eligibility to work at UWA and either approves or rejects the appointment.
If approved, the information flows through to Human Resources (HR) where the contract is generated and the appointee added to the payroll system, enabling them to be paid via submission of online timesheets.
