Timeframes for submission of Academic portfolio

First academic portfolio –
12 months after commencement

Employee will be given the opportunity to remedy the performance concerns – refer Clause 9.

All levels

Second academic portfolio -
24 months after commencement

Employee will be given the opportunity to remedy the performance issues – refer Clause 9. Academic Promotions Committee will determine timeframe for employee to address the issues.

B to E
(Three year probation)

Third and final academic portfolio -
32 months after commencement
(no less than four months
prior to end of probationary period

Where probation is recommended to be extended or appointment annulled, the Dean will forward to SDVC. SDVC will refer to Academic Promotions Committee for recommendation – refer Clauses 9 and 10.

Third academic portfolio -
36 months after commencement

Employee will be given the opportunity to remedy the performance issues – refer Clause 9.

A only

Fourth academic portfolio -
48 months after commencement

Employee will be given the opportunity to remedy the performance issues – refer Clause 9.  Academic Promotions Committee will determine timeframe for employee to address the issues.

A only

Fifth and final academic portfolio -
56 months after commencement (no less than four months prior to end of probationary period)

Where probation is recommended to be extended or appointment annulled, the Dean will forward to SDVC. SDVC will refer to Academic Promotions Committee for recommendation – refer Clauses 9 and 10.
